about the art

My art is based on the imagination of the soul, the passions of the heart and the sensuosity of things. I want to share the poetry of the world and our place in it by creating visual analogies of life’s mysteries.

I am entranced by the land as a living presence, by the qualities in things that invite absorption, and the mystery of discovering meaning through imagination.

These are the thematic threads that run through my paintings, mixed media work and collages.

Through evocative images, I seek to open a contemplative space for people to personally explore these themes.
